Liqid Inc., in partnership with Inspur Group Co. Ltd (Inspur), one of the top five largest server manufacturers in the world, today announces the validation of the Liqid Powered Kingston DCP1000 in the new Inspur 1U server (Model: NF5180M4).

Using two Kingston DCP1000 NVMe drives, the 1U Dual-Socket Intel E5-2620 based solution sustains over 2.3 million random read IOPS at 4K block size and over 13GBytes per second random read performance at 32K and greater block sizes. Inspur’s non-blocking architecture enables close to 100 percent performance aggregation across NVMe SSDs and allows scaling of network interconnects from 10-100Gbits to meet throughput and IOPS at node- and rack-level deployments.

“Inspur is seeing significant customer demand for NVMe-based cloud, media, big data and IoT data center solutions,” said Dolly Wu, GM of Data Center and Cloud USA at Inspur Systems. “Customers are looking for cost-effective flash storage solutions that meet their ever growing performance demands, and we are excited to demonstrate these capabilities with leading suppliers like Kingston.”

Kingston’s Liqid Powered DCP1000 was jointly developed by the two companies to meet the extreme demands of critical data center and enterprise applications for performance, cost and endurance.

“Kingston recognizes Inspur’s growth and rapid expansion globally, and we look forward to jointly delivering best-in-class NVMe solutions for both quality and value to customers,” said SSD Business Manager Ariel Perez at Kingston. “There is a significant demand for dense, high-performance storage solutions. By leveraging our relationship with Liqid, we are consistently innovating to produce the greatest performing solutions on the market.”

“Inspur’s leadership in dense form factors for hyperscale and enterprise environments is enabling customers to achieve greater data center resource utilization,” said Sumit Puri, VP of Marketing of Liqid. “The Liqid Powered DCP1000 in conjunction with Inspur server platforms allows for higher density analytics per RU – essential for scaling mission critical applications.”
